My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: “Proclaim the Gospels to all Nations!”
Throughout these past 5 years I have gotten to know so many of you and have so enjoyed our times together. You have read the Desk of the Deacon column, attended Holy Hours over the years that I have shared messages to inspire your relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ.
You have heard about my family, friends and career throughout many Homilies and have witnessed firsthand the First Permanent Deacon in the Parish of St. Joseph. We have struggled with gathering over the last few years and have come out of it even stronger in Jesus’ call to discipleship. I have shared Jesus so you will know Him wherever you go. As I begin my New Assignment at St. Anne’s Parish in Hampstead, I would like to leave you with this thought: “if you meet me, and forget me, you’ve lost nothing. But if you meet Jesus Christ and forget him, you have lost everything.”
My prayer is that during our time together we have met Jesus Christ in each other, and will never forget all that he has done for us. May God Bless your Hearts!!
